It's another successful year of Astec Advanced Customer Schools. All the sessions were sold out as a total of 591 students attended, representing 14 countries.
“There was abundant enthusiasm about the class offerings this year," noted Michael Holbrook, Astec's customer schools coordinator. "After tallying the surveys, the drum class received the highest praises."
The theme of the Astec Advanced Customer Schools this year was "Getting to Zero Service Calls." In an ongoing effort to share, teach, and explain troubleshooting for various plant components, including controls and computers, Astec engineers and instructors have elevated the sessions to include simulators and more detailed instruction.
“The goal is for every attendee to feel more confident in the Astec equipment and controls for optimal plant performance," said Holbrook. "By providing a comfortable, educational environment for learning, attendees are better equipped to handle the day-to-day plant operations to maintain uptime."
"ATTENDEES GAVE HIGH SCORES FOR THE 2017 ASTEC ADVANCED CUSTOMER SCHOOLS’ CLASSES ... THE DRUM CLASS WAS AN OVERALL FAVORITE."
