Astec, Inc. brought Hi-Way Bill to the World of Asphalt. Bill made a special appearance at the show held in March in Baltimore, Maryland, to promote the Astec-led “Don’t Let America Dead End” campaign. The sole mission of the campaign is to get people to consistently contact their federally elected representatives (president, senators, and congressperson) in Washington, D.C., and ask them to support and pass a long-term highway bill with increased funding. During the show, Bill shook hands, posed for pictures, and handed out cards with the www.dontletamericandeadend.com website to help encourage action from show attendees.
